Tejdeep Steels offers a wide range of duplex stainless steel plates and sheets, including LDX 2101®, 2304, 2205, 2507, 31803, 32750, and 32760. These products are designed to meet demanding requirements for corrosion resistance and high strength.
Duplex stainless steel plates have high chromium content (18% to 28%) and moderate nickel levels (1.5% to 8%). Their exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical strength come from their unique chemical composition and balanced microstructure, which consists of equal parts ferrite and austenite.
LDX 2101® is a low-nickel, nitrogen-enhanced lean duplex stainless steel. It offers corrosion resistance similar to grade 304 but has significantly higher strength, allowing thinner sections for cost savings. Grades 2304 and 2205/31803 are popular choices due to their excellent resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking.
“Super” duplex grades, like Alloy 2507, provide even better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion compared to 300-series austenitic stainless steels and standard duplex alloys. This improvement is due to higher levels of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen in their composition.
